How it works
The exact difference is computed calendar-aware: whole years first, then whole months, then remaining days. Total days are counted between midnight UTC of each date so daylight saving changes never add or remove a day. Business days count Monday to Friday, with the start date included and the end date excluded; public holidays are not considered.

Is the end date included?
The difference counts from the start date up to, but not including, the end date. Add one day if you want to count both.
How are business days counted?
Monday to Friday only. Public holidays vary by country and are not subtracted.
